Courses at VDTT


1. All courses in Program Core are compulsory courses.
2. There is no choice of choosing Open Electives and hence credits assigned to OE is zero.
3. There are 3 streams

a) ASIC and SoC Design This stream includes courses focussing on sythesis, design and modelling of systems, subsystems and circuits.
b) Micro and Nano Devices Courses under this stream focus on micro and nano semiconductor devices and materials.
c) Embedded Intelligent Systems This stream focusses on computing for embedded intelligent systems, self adaptive systems and neural networks.

4. Students of a particular stream must take up at least three courses of that stream. Rest can be taken up from either Program Electives or other streams.
5. Total credits must be at least 48.
